Welcome to Restivus
So how well prepared are you for a natural disaster, car accident or long term power outage? I’m not especially prepared for any of these things and odds are most people aren’t either. Not a big deal, but it could be. Hindsight is a bitter pill that can usually be prevented with minimal planning and preparation.
Planning for every contingency isn’t realistic or even necessary for most of us. With that said, there are a lot of survival skills helpful for the rest of us. Can you build a temporary shelter, start a fire without matches or find clean water? These are basic skills that take mere minutes to learn, but can save your life if you need them.
Now there are also a lot of folks worried about larger dangers with far more serious implications. For these folks planning for every contingency is not just practical, it’s a necessity. I don’t own a crystal ball so I can’t say if those lengths are required. Would I like to be prepared at that level? You bet and that’s one of the reasons this site exists.
So take a look around and I hope you find something to enhance your knowledge base. If you can’t find it, drop me a line and I’ll do my best to find it for you.
